Solid match from Dimitrov. If he plays Gasquet it will be interesting, I expect Richard to be a little bit tired physically and mentally after coming from Montpellier.

Delighted about Dimitrov advancing - him vs Flash could be an excellent game, might have to find a stream for that one.

If you can find a dutch proxy, go to nos.nl --> sport --> live and then it's on the right. Excellent quality, but only available for dutch IP.

Coverage of this event has now begun on Sky Sports in the UK (in case anyone doesn't know). I'll have to wait till after work to catch it, but looking forward watching Federer tonight.

Thanks. It looks like Sky Sports might be showing the later stages of this one, so might be able to catch it on the tellybox.

Looks like we have a Baghdatis-Dimitrov rematch! Should be a good one.

What, because Gasquet would have offered any sort of challenge?

Unless Gasquet is playing Murray, he WILL lose to anyone ranked above him. It's like clockwork.

Gulbis is crushing the ball left and right. Some scary hitting is going on out there.. impressive stuff.
Delpo serving at 5-6 1st set.

No, he would've breezed through anyway. Gasquet's got a nice weapon, but he has to have everything working for him to beat anyone consistently in the top 20. He melts down on mistakes.

It's Rotterdam, so he doesn't have to wait for Cibulkova. There's still the red light district.

Hell, Vika is probably a 7 or 8 that he gives to a sex starved buddy while he takes the dimes.

Bagy was awesome on defending his breaks....Gasquest didn't play bad at all - Bagy just played that well......on every big break point opp Bagy came up with a huge shot.....just a great win for him.

baghy can play awesome. I remember how he beat federer at indian wells
back in 2010. that was sensational tennis.

by the way, baghy was trained in france when he was junior. so he probably
knows gasquet's game very well. head to head is 3-0 now.

two of my favorite ball strikers.

Is it just me or does Federer's serve motion look totally different?

If I had the software or the time, I'd be really curious to see a video comparison over the years of Federer's serve motion.

Get one point from the deuce court from every Australian Open, Indian wells...whatever...from the past 6-7 years and see how his motion has changed.

It has changed over the years I think. It's been pretty much the same the last few years, but if you compare his serve from say 2004 to now, it is different. I'm not sure it's "totally different, but it is different. I think he had a higher toss in say 2004. He delayed it more. Almost like Baghdatis's motion, but without the pump before the serve IMO.

In Fed's early years, there was less swing of the body, i.e. he does lean back as much as he does now. And lately I feel like that his service posture before he throws the ball is a bit different. The back doesn't bend down as much and he doesn't stoop so low.

So far the GOAT took an average of 1 hour to win each of his first two matches. Very nice.

It looks to me like Marcos has lost at least 15-20 lbs.

He looks so much fitter than last year.

I guess marriage and impending fatherhood made him get it together
