Mona is blowing a 4-1 lead in the second... amazing how few people could be left after Day 3

as they say, miseries go in pairs, as 1 German is out, 2nd may just follow
Anyway, Rybarikova is too solid to be convinced Mona can just walk over her

If the Barthel bus goes off the cliff that just leaves the Woz crew...

Then hopefully myself and Kish...not a big brigade...but hey this is the WTA

My new rule is I will never pick someone with zits all over their face again. That goes for Barthel and Dolgopolov.

And the Barthel bus joins the Georges one in the ravine. The woz bus had a flat tire but was able to get ahold of AAA...

    Let's go VENUS

Well I am banking on Venus generally fighting hard in Miami...that and the fact that she smacked Kimiko aside last year here.

In retrospect I wish I had picked Flipkens...I thought about it..but Venus seemed safer...we'll see

well, a week ago Flipkens almost beat Azarenka, and Venus comes here rusty, should be interesting match though

Venus has also had over a weeks rest to collect the herself and get herself ready. Kimiko has been playing a lot of tennis this year...singles and doubles. I kinda figured taking that info into account..and the fact that Miami is a tournament Venus really cares about..that it was a reasonable risk...

If I am proven wrong well...I will have plenty of company on then side lines :)

Venus is terrifying to bet on because you never know which version of her will show up!

......but then again, that's pretty much true for all these girls isn't it...

True haha. I just felt if I was gonna pick her..this was really the only day to. I figured she might be good for a win in Miami. I hope it doesn't blow up in my face...but if it does..well its my own fault. Maybe I let the fact that I just simply.want her to do well tip my choice..

Either way..I am happy just to make it to day 3

Venus is really struggling after her 5-2 opening set lead....she still managed to squeak that set out in the tiebreak, but it looks like it's going to a decider here in the 2nd.

Up a break in the third...her serve is HORRIBLE but her return is saving her and keeping her in it

To add to an already seemingly impossible task, you have to think of who might win, but also least likely to retire...,.

    Organizers made a mistake

In the spreadsheet chart you switched picks between dcdoorknob and kishnabe for Day 5
