I dont think the tired old man would have much left in the tank after his strenuous group stage, compare to Nadal's cakewalk...

Last two times they met in WTF Nadal won eight games so that's my pick.

The old man to crush Nadal 6-3 6-0 just like the last time they played on WTF.

If Fed wins he'll win fairly comfortable in straights like 6-3 6-2. If it gets any closer I feel Rafa will take it - unless it goes into tiebreaks, then I'd have to favor Fed.

Anyway. Hoping for a great match nevertheless.

Motivated for this meaningless exhibition tournament that Nadal fans couldn't care less about. I expect zero new threads if he wins the title.

Federer is a better indoor player in the grand scheme of things , no doubt 6 WTF speaks for itself but Rafa has had the year of his life, how do people expect Roger to take down a peak rafa considering he is 32 years old?

It will be a miracle if Federer somehow pulls it off. If inspired Federer shows up tomorrow I predict it will be Nadal in 3 sets. If he is flat, then I see Nadal in 2 sets.

Nadal will have his first indoor win against Fed tomorrow in 2 sets. Shaping up to be a phenomenal year for the Rafa camp. I really don't see Fed getting out of this one.

Heart says Federer cant beat Nadal, Head says Federer cant beat Nadal so... I voted for Federer in 2. Lets go for that and Wawrinka to beat Djokovic to set up a swiss final!

If Federer somehow wins tomorrow, it'll prove that Indoor is to Federer what clay is to Nadal and if they had met as many times Indoor it would have evened out that H2H.

If Nadal wins tomorrow then it'll be 4-1. So the ratio will be quite similar to the Federer-Nadal clay H2H.

Yes it is really disturbing how biased schedules and draws are towards Nadal. And how lucky he is.

It's hard to say, Nadal hasn't been tested really in the group. And he is not playing as well as at Montreal/Cincinnati/USO. A lot of short balls (at Beijing, Shanghai, Paris and at WTF), he went back to defensive mode and this relatively low bouncing court doesn't help him at all.
Yesterday, Berdych was having great success in keeping almost everything to Nadal's backhand, I was surprised how many points Nadal lost in those rallies.

Federer is not at his best, too. But he knows how to play Nadal in those conditions (court with low and consistent bounce; no elements). Actually, the only court (conditions) where you can freely say that Federer owns Nadal. And you don't beat someone four times (Masters Cup, WTF), without losing a match, and giving him just one set, by luck or accident.

I'm going with Roger this time, hope to see a good match.

The same thing was said in 2011, the first slamless year since 2002, and see what he did. Although it won't be easy as my username suggests, it won't be as tough as the JMDPotro match. If RNadal wins it, it will be well deserved win for him, no question asked.

Should be a good one. Nadal is a better HC player than he is indoors and Fed took him to 3 in Cincy. We'll see what happens. I don't expect a blowout on either end.

I understand that , one thing us tennis fans have learned over the years is that you can never write off Fed , even the most ardent nadal fan should admit that

Even if Fed is old it doesn't matter. If Nadal won, he won it fair and square and thats all history will remember. Nadal as the winner.

Fed-Nadal is set no matter what Gasquet does. Fed and Novak will be 1-2, but Novak will be first because he beat Federer. A single tiebreak is decided by H2H.

You're kidding, right? Ralph wasn't losing at that US Open. He was dressed like an assassin, barely lost his serve and motivated as hell. He was destined to win that one.

As a fan of both players, I win either way. That said, I was more into (yelling, screaming, pleading, on the edge of my seat) Fed’s come from behind win, than I have been in a long time. Take that naysayers!

Federer's backhand has been too suspect this week to have a chance in this one.
