Not as good seats as last match, but ok.
Rafa berdy match i had the best seat a rafa girl fan can have! Right behind his bench row A. So the pictures from iPhone mostly from the things he does around his bench. Lol.

A thing that happen before that match: the coin from the coin toss ended up rafa side towards baseline of court when they were hitting before match started. No one saw it. I told the ATP guy that sat infront of me there. It could have been dangerous rafa skipping on it. He was very close running on it.
The ATP guy reacted so slow! He tried to contact umpire without luck.eventually rafa noticed it. Very lazy this ATP guy... Annoing.

It'll be nice to watch Federer and Nadal go at it once again. Let's hope for some great tennis. I wouldn't be surprised if it goes three sets. I do expect Nadal to advance to the finals. I expect that he'll look to be on the offense as much as possible, so that he doesn't allow Federer to dictate points at all.

Hopefully Federer is gonna win that match somehow. It would be SO important win for him after just an terrible year. And what a boost it would be for him to carry on; train harder etc. etc.. if you think about next year. C'mon Roger :)

Huge Roger fan.. looking forward to the match.

My initial thought was that Roger didn't stand a chance... BUT this is a Nadal that has lost to Ferrer and DelPo in the last couple weeks on this surface.

I still don't fancy Fed's chances, but I suspect he'll make a solid run and will take a set... likely the first one before donking out.

The one aspect I'm curious about is Federer's backhand. Annacone was encouraging him to hit through and over the backhand. This is what got Fed success in the first set of their match in Cinci and is the shot Nadal can do the least with. However, it is just so hard to do consistently.

He's split from Annacone now and was using a lot of slice against Del Potro, which is the much easier shot. It was effective against Delpo, since it stayed really low on the court, forced the big guy to get down and move forwards and didn't let him whack flat on the ball. It'll still be really low, but Nadal's never had a problem with slice.

I'm curious to see what Federer will do in that regard, and also how much Nadal will attack the backhand, since the slice is so effective here.

In all honesty and objectivity, Federer might actually bulldozed Rafa here. This is FED's best surface, and Rafa is playing crap. His BH is not sharp and landing in the middle of the court. Fed will eat those for breakfast. We'll see either way, give us a great match Rafa and Fed !!!

You really think that?? Nadal played fantastic against Ferrer and pretty good against Wawa. Fed will be off physically after today and he's giving up sizable leads. I honestly think Rafa will overwhelm him tomorrow.

Fed's advantage is the surface. Rafa's advantage is, well, Fed!

So this should be a great match!

Maybe Uncle Toni or Rafa continues the strategy to avoid Djoker at this point in the season on his least favorite surface and indoors.

Did you really watch that match ? Did you see Ferrer's game ? Ferrer was tired. Did you see his match in Paris against Rafa ?

As for WAwa, if he did not choke against Rafa, he might have won.
Look, I'm not underestimating Rafa here, nor will I underestimate Fed's game like the other Rafa fans. All i'm saying is, this is not a foregone conclusion like the others are saying.

Rafa should win the whole thing. He certainly looked the best player all week. Novak has looked tired and keeps losing concentration in matches. Against an up for it bristlingly energetic Nadal I don't see Novak having the energy. Also final should be best of 5 sets, not 3.

Also after the year he has had, Rafa deserves to win. He has quite simply be the best player.

Do you ever think Federer is going to win? Or do you just say this stuff so you don't get let down too much when he loses?

Nadal in straights. Not a total beat down, but not too tight either. Just something straightforward like 6-3 6-4.

I disagree. Djokovic (of course assuming he wins his SF against Stan) is gonna get revenge after his loss at Flushing Meadows, IMHO. Of course I might be wrong but Djokovic looks so determined right now and and in this very court, I like Novak's chances anyway. I m gonna bet certainly for Djokovic if the final is between Nadal and Djokovic.

You think Nadal would beat Del Potro and Federer in RR? Djokovic is definitely in better form as he had to be to win those 2 matches.

    I'm guessing both.

I somewhat feel the same way though, Nadal seems a bit too much for Federer at the moment. Even without factoring in the fatigue.

Lol at the poll results... 50/50 for each of them winning in either 2 or 3 sets. Has that ever happened before?

True that but for some reason I like Who am I-dude very much because he's gotta be the most sickest Federer-fan ever seen. And, btw, if he's not, I take all criticism against me like a man:evil:

Fed will play some inspired tennis but still subtly tank this match so he can watch a jaded Joker thrash farm-fresh Nadevil in the final.

Though I root 4 Fedex for 137%, difficult to c him winning this match. But if Fede's 1 serve % is something like 67+, anything is possible. Fed, b da man this time!
