Well crud, sorry about that. WTA Tennis psst
Day 2: Goerges
Rough day for many as 7 are sent out with Knapp and U Radwanska going down. Down to 10 left and we're only an hour or so into Day 2.
still R1, i think all things considered, D1 and D2 should have been combined since in both days virtually all matches were toss ups
Hoping for better ATP results
Not easy to follow both ATP and WTA SDLs for me. I don't know a lot of players in the WTA. I think I made my day 2 pick. I retire from WTA after that. At least from IW.
I'll come back for the WTA Slams.
Wait a minute!
It seems I need not pull out of the tournament. My day 2 pick Knapp's done the job for me by losing to her opponent.
Good luck to those still in the tournament. Hope we have a winner(s).
80% of all WTA matches are probably toss-ups - just aren't that many sure things unlike in the men's game.
Yeah, that's part of the fun. Has anybody ever made it all the way to the end of a tournament in WTA SDL?
A few but not many. JadeC won Canada last year so that was the most recent winner of a full tournament (WTA Championships Excluded). 5 won the French Open last year but aside from it and Canada there have been no other winners.
Let us breathe a collective sigh of relief.
