Yeah, both him and Richard have a little more oomph on many of their first serves today. Is there a radar gun in sight? Cause Nishi seems to have a bit more pop on that T serve that usual

The end of the streak was more tragic though.Just looked it up. The last person to win a TB against Andy before that epic streak, was the Muzz himself.
They played the Digimon one after Shenzen final. They are playing one of the latest "One Piece" theme songs on changeover
In 2 sets, no less.Ten aces for Kei today, what a rarity, making double digit numbers in this stat....
Fun factLook at this from Kei Good stuff.

which roddick record was/is threatened this week ?...Kei gotta save Roddick's tb record. Which was ended by Gasquet in 2007
18 consecutive tiebreaks won. Gasquet was on a 5 tiebreak streak.which roddick record was/is threatened this week ?...
I hope Nishi wins, who doesn't like a winner in their national tournament.
But man Medvedev is playing solid, and it's great to see him make yet another final. Medvedevs technique is quirky, and he is hyped way less than the other nextgen guys, but the fact is he is 2 titles this year. If he wins this I don't see any reason why he shouldn't be considered the greatest next gen talent on tour after Zverev.
Shape SFs:Shapo knee taped and playing too many 3 set matches, wearing himself out. He was never in the match tonight. I'm getting so I know when he is about to spay groundstrokes and donate a DF.
I’ve not done stats, but Ninja has had a lot of great serving in this comeback. A bit like Goffin last year who nearly won WTF. Maybe more efficient serving will preserve his health as well.Nishikori definitely looks to be having more pop on his serve.
Winning a alot on that first serve.
Best outcome: Shapo is like young Fed, lots of talent, lots of shots, and it's going to take time for him to learn when to use what. This is what I'm hoping for.Shape SFs:
Lose Zverev
Lose Tiafoe
Lose Zverev
Lose Medvedev
All older so maybe it’s ok?
Meddy has thumped Tsiti and now Shapo recently.
As you know well, well ahead of Dimitrough at the same age. Trough not even on the main tour in year of his 19th birthday. 2011 he won 49.6% of his hard court points. Shapo this year so far (and a year younger); 51.1% and rising. Trough hit 51.1% in 2013 at three years older in age when he achieved year end ranking of 23.Best outcome: Shapo is like young Fed, lots of talent, lots of shots, and it's going to take time for him to learn when to use what. This is what I'm hoping for.
Worst outcome: He's another hyped teen who is billed as the Second Coming of Tennis, and just be another disappointment like Dimitrov. I am NOT hoping for this!!!
Open era rankings. But they are still building database and only goes back to 2012, plus some McEnroe era stuffIs there some place to easily look up ranking-by-age to see how the up-and-coming guys compare to previous generations?
2:30 AM Eastern US timeWhat time is the wheelchair match, anyone know?
I mean Nishikori.
Try this site, grouping by age and then by rank.Is there some place to easily look up ranking-by-age to see how the up-and-coming guys compare to previous generations?

Yep, Medvedev, that's who I was going for all right. My prognosticating talents have no limit.Rooting for Nishikori in the final yet I like Medvedev as well
Disappointed that Shapovalov isn't progressing as well as I had hoped. Making it to a SF is great but he really needs to start winning tournaments and stepping up his game.
I had a feeling Kei would win that second set easily after winning the tiebreak. Gasquet ran out of steam.
I am one of the 6 people who voted for Nishikori in the poll. The 2 who voted "other" can claim they meant Medvedev! (;
Wow. Almost a perfect compliment to open era rankings with TA good for 2012 and back.Try this site, grouping by age and then by rank.

I was checking federers early career the other day. in 2000 federer (aged 18/19trs) win/loss was 36-30. similar to what shapo will have this season,Best outcome: Shapo is like young Fed, lots of talent, lots of shots, and it's going to take time for him to learn when to use what. This is what I'm hoping for.
