Any 3.5-4.0's here near Auburn, Alabama? I need someone to hit with as I'm finally getting back into playing after about a 6 month hiatus.

I'll bet you can pick up a game if you just hang around the courts a bit. If you're looking for a team, there is usually a 3.5 and a 4.0 team playing in the Columbus league out of the Phenix City courts. There are always some Auburn guys on those teams. I'm in LaGrange.

LaGrange is just as close to me as Auburn. Care to hit sometime? Whats your rating?

I used to live in Auburn, when I went there... four hours south of there now, though.

What did you study while you were there?

Business... a fat load of good that does if you can't find a job without relocating.

Where are you? Lanett? I'm 4.0/4.5. There is a lot of tennis in LaGrange, including some leagues you might enjoy. If you're interested, I'll get you some info. We have 3.5, tri-level, and mixed. The 4.0s play out of Callaway Gardens and the rest of us play each other or ALTA out of Newnan.

I'm in Valley. Right now I'd be playing at a strong 3.5 level because I've been out for awhile but I should be getting back into routine sometime this summer and be up in the 4.0-4.5 range (hopefully). I'm playing in a corta league out of Auburn right now and am really just looking for some hitting partners. I don't want to try to get into too many teams until I know for sure I'm back to being a somewhat reliable player. If you'd care to hit sometime we could meet up no prob. Lagrange isn't too far for me.

If you want to hit this afternoon (Sat), give me a call 7o6-523-1o7o. We've got some nice clay courts in LaGrange. Also, there is a great "show up and play" group at McClusky Tennis Center on Sat and Sun mornings. It's 3.0 - 4.0 with the occasional 4.5. GREAT group of guys who just love to goof off and play some tennis. All you have to do is show up. There are usually 4-12 people depending on the weather.

Hey man I really enjoyed hitting with you guys, even though I was the least consistent person there. Look forward to doing it again.

Any time. That's a good group because you don't have to plan ahead. You just show up if you can make it.
