I think murray's olympic victory shouldn't be put out of proportion. It was still best-of-3 with a 3 set final against well below par federer. Besides, look how many brits overperformed aided by the huge crowd support. I would put djokovic or federer as the favorite depending on who draws murray in his half. Moreover, unlike almost everyone here I think nadal could well mess up in the draw if he decides to play, I mean who is gonna beat him before the quarters? rosol again?

my idol? i am a fed fan but i can make my own choices. i am sure federer wants to win every single grand slam, but i think that would be also boring and i think some other players ALSO deserve to win some. i think 17 or 18 or 19 is an incredible carrer. more than incredible, out of this world. if federer keeps winning, great, but i would be happy if tsonga and del potro won the grand slams djokovic won, for example, as i don't like him that much. that wasn't possible, so...

gascquet i dont really understand. i dont think he is as good as the others, but i would like to see him play 'the right way', with no fear.

tsonga i am still hopefull. he has some good results.

ah, now i dont know if you thought i was talking about chances of winning. this is what i would like to happen. in terms of chances,

    i think it's novak>federer>murray, all very close.

novak must be sick of all this loosing, and i think he will be ultra hungry. only question is his body. will he be tired? maybe not, if he doesnt try to get back at number 1 right away in cincy. if he goes guns blazing right away he might find himself short in the semis in new york.

federer i think it is also a matter of him not being tired. he rested last week. i think he shouldnt try to win cincy, only if things go his way and he only has to go for it in the final, against novak or murray. i think he can afford to try his best for one game. if he is well rested, i think he can win against murray/nadal/tsonga/del potro in the new york semi. final we'll see. but i don't know. his back doesnt seem perfect and he has to move perfectly in new york to win it. novak we ll be stronger than on grass. murray same level.

murray is riding a confidence wave. he is getting near, i think. i think right now he is on the same level as novak. he his hitting very strong. he is 3rd on my list because we know he has a mental barrier to overcome.

I know it is a pipe dream but I would like to see Isner, Fish or Roddick win it.

Okay, I can agree with that. :) I would say they all have a chance and if they all reach the semis the better man on the day will win. I think talent/skill wise there is not much between them.

Agree. He was looking very sharp in TO.

Fed is the other option - if things break his way.

^ Nice image. It's good to have the top four all win a GS in the same year.

Djokovic needs to go back to ST.

Seems like he can't win a kiss in a brothel with Uniqlo.
