Need some good suggestions on trying to get some power out of my new 4D 300 Tours. Been using APDC with Cyberflash and Cyberblue at different times. Cyberflash at 45# full setup and Cyberblue at 47# full setup also.
Tried same string in the Dunlops but even strung at low tensions of 43# still can't get the power. I know it's a less powerful racket but may have to go to multi's to get some smoke! I'm a legitimate 4.5 and play a power game so I know what I'm doing.
Tried Addiction at 50# and still nothing. What do you guys think of dropping tension down to 45 to 46# with a multi known for good power? Would prefer to keep the cost per set down to around $10.00 as I am used to spending only $4.00 per set for the polys since I buy reels. Don't mine restringing often due to breakage. What else am I going to do when watching the Tennis Channel?

theres been studies that lowering the tension does not "increase" power but only trajectory. If you actually want to add more power use LEAD TAPE. It will add more weight/mass behind the ball increasing the ball speed.

NRG2 17g is the most powerful string I've ever tried.

For a powerful ploy have you tried Unique Big Hitter Blue?
