So 5.0 vs Krumm hits 1000 posts, and by this point has morphed from being an abridged serialisation of the 1968-1980 volume of LeeD's autobiography ("The Glory Years: from C to A and back") into a discussion about how Roger Federer could be mistaken for a 50 year old 3.5 / 4.0 rec player when warming up. Brilliant.

EDIT: correct title of said autobiography should read "Rise and Fall: from C to A and back again," with special foreword by Peanut Louie and Illana Kloss.

    All right.

Unfortunately, I wasn't doing the sneaker squeaker thing that I did when hitting Thursday, (split-stepping, dancing, and giving my hitting partner all he could handle) but considering my lack of energy reserves, it twaren't bad.

    No problem.

Again, I may, especially since the who-can-out-hit-whom thing can get a bit stale after a while.

    Good to know.

It's amazing what you find, when intent on looking for it.

There are days when I have to deal with some kind of anemia or hypoglycemia like effect, related to something in my diet, that lessens my energy reserves and makes me less spry than I can be.

Add to that that it's just video of some hitting, for 15-20 minutes straight w/o break, in hot & humid weather, and yes, my footwork can be less than stellar.

    But when I'm on, forget-about-it! (it's on)

That is one hell of a good observation!

That is one hell of a good observation! (j/k)

I can be a jackass at times, though I blame it on something I've eaten, (and rightfully so I think) that's eating me.

As for being a troll, if you really think I am, why reply?

You can see the self importance our new troll has, as he makes sure he carefully replies to each and every post directed at him and laying down 6-7 posts at a time.

It's a step in the right direction. You got rid of the stupid shadow effect, and now we have a vid of you and your buddy lobbing practice balls to each other shot from 3 miles away. Oh, and, of course, more excuses why you can't actually play (first competition just isn't fun and now it's apparently something in your diet that prevents you from actually, you know, playing...). LOL.

He doesn't play matches, he's just a guy at a park playing with no pressure.

    Boring.

Let's move on. Maybe talk about guitars or something actually cool.

I agree with Power Player. The latest video confirms what he is, a mediocre park player who hits directly to another mediocre park player. They are all over this area. Every now and then they hit pretty hard to each other and think thats actual tennis.

And top 10 ranked 12 year old girl would destroy him 0-0.

The camera is so far away I can't even see the ball. They could of been air tennis playing for all I know. And they still sucked balls. Lol.

suggestion to Tennisean...since it's obvious you are intent on maintaining your anonymity on a public forum (i don't blame you given all the crazy people abound), maybe wear some masks like the bank robbers in Point Break so you can remain anonymous. this way you won't need to use the edge effect or shoot videos from the moon. maybe use a Clinton and a Bush mask. :)

What I did was not add the, as you put it, 'stupid shadow effect'.

And, the hyperbole of your 'vid of you and your buddy lobbing practice balls to each other shot from 3 miles away' comment speaks for itself. (telling me exactly who I'm dealing with)

I allow myself a bi-weekly pig out, to raise my metabolic set point and to keep on the straight and narrow, where my diet's concerned, so yes, I can still be recovering from it when I go to hit.

But 'of course' I can play. I just, happily, choose not to.

'You can see the self importance [y]our' labeling me a troll, as I reply in a way that has nothing to do with the discussion, but everything to do with desperate and disingenuous debating tactics.

So how I post is evidence of ....... well nothing really. (which is what you've got)

Thanks for the laugh, mediocre indeed, that's a good one!

And the serious hyperbole just keeps coming out the wrong hole. (though it may be the right hole, for some)

You happily choose not to because actually playing and getting crushed would destroy your illusion for good. LOL.

  33. A guy on my college team regularly practices with a WTA Pro ranked in late 400's. He is about the same level as her. He is probably a 5.5, with almost ATP strokes, he has booming serve and groundstrokes, but no mental and makes errors and breaksdown against pushers.

:)Lots of fun bashing of LeeD here....
    Here's the truth.
When MommaLouie asked me to hit with Mareen on a regular twice a month basis, she was a high school student, and solid A/Open womens, not yet a winning WTA pro.
Marcie was the pro, had won some WTA tourney just during the times I hit with her, she asked me to serve to her, and we hit afterwards a couple of times.
I also hit with Marisa (an animal who hit waaay too hard), and Marna a few times. All were better than top B level womens.
After I started playing A/Opens, I never hit with the girls.

Is our population that fat? Pretty sure we don't have that many athletic builds with tons of muscle. I mean not to be rude or anything but I'm like 5' 11" or 6' but only weigh 155 pounds.

That average actually sounds low tbh. YES, the USA has ALOT of obese people. If you travel abroad you seldom see the amount of obesity you see here. The reason for this is because americans drive everywhere. Europeans walk and use public transpo. Third world citizens are too poor to be able to afford cars and many don't even have well paved roads.
