Like it kinda feels like a big deference to me. What about you guys?
Yes and No. It's only 2 square inches--barely anything. The key, though, is that it somehow feels a good bit bigger. I don't know why, i can't explain it, i'm not a psychologist, but i'd be curious to know the answer. But year, I agree with you. The radical mp feels and lot smaller than the radical pro/tour, for instance.
I've tried a number of different racquets in that headsize range over the last few years.
To me, a 95 feels closer to a 98 than a 100. In general, most 100 sq in racquets seem to have a rounder shape whereas 98s and 95s seem to be have an oval shape.
I know it sounds stupid, but I agree with the first response. Small differences can make big perception differences.
In my opinion 93 sq inch racquets seems a class smaller than 95 sq inch even though they are obviously very close to each other. 95 sq inch and 98 sq inch seem the same to me. 100 sq inch seems a class bigger.
I have the same thing.
yea my pure storm looks a bunch smaller than my pure drive...i noticed the oval shape on the 98's as well
I don't think it makes much of a difference at all. 100 and 95 is different for sure but if you can play 100 I would say you could play 98. When you put the racquets up against eachother face to face it's like 3 mm difference all around.
Maybe thats it, the fact that the head is a 98 sq in with a 27 inch length it makes it shape as a oval look. But when its rounded off to a 100 sq in. Its more circular
wow, i thought i was the only one who thought this. . .i've always thought that my pure control felt a lot smaller than my pure drive. . .is the sweet spot proportion bigger than the measurement proportion?----that could be a reason
