Oh stop it with the David Ferrer. He never made it passed the 1/4 finals of a slam last year. What makes you think he'll win the AO this year? Maybe your just a disillusioned Ferrer fan.

I think you'll win joshburger, but given the finalists in recent years I'd give your friend more chance of winning this particular bet than if you'd offer the same bet at the other 3 slams.

He left Djokovic as 'rest of the field'. I wouldn't mind taking that bet.

Since Federer or Murray will win it, you will win too.

Considering that the final last year was Djokovic vs. Tsonga, I predict that it will be rest of the field

Looking up the odds on any betting site should make you feel good. IF it was for the same amount of money (a 1-to-1 bet) your friend took a pretty big risk.
To make it fair you should bet 3-4 times more than he does :):):)

    Here are the latest odds:

    Roger Federer 11/4
    Andy Murray 10/3
    Rafael Nadal 7/2

I doubt Djokovic will defend the AO.
