Very hard to say whether or not it is legit.

I'd say it is a PJ but wouldnt bet my salary on it.

I saw a pic on the photo gallery on the ATP website of nadal's racquet, the cortex is definitely painted on.

Go to the atp website and find the photo gallery and there's a really close-up pic of nadal volleying and you can tell the cortex is painted.

On a slightly unrelated note, I really like Nadal's crew. It suits him, IMHO, much better than those polos they've been stuffing him in since last spring.

    That ain't a paint job

I've got one of the new GT's I tried to post them on here but they had to be from a link, email me a begknow@gmail.com if you want some pics, the raquets sic, does swing a little better than the last, more 'aero' is what if feels like, and def more power.

Im sorry but thats a PJ, no doubt about it. On the coverage of Doha they often do the shots frm behind the tennis bags and in one shot you could see the handle up close, def a PJ.

You've got Nadal's ACTUAL racquet? I think you're clearly missing the thread. We all know that the new APDGT has a new pj, but the discussion is if the Cortex on Nadal's racquet is legit or just painted on for marketing purposes. Hmmm... stupid huh?

Nadal's racket is a PJ, I even read on a website a while back that his whole racket is custom and that he likes a head heavy balance; maybe this could explain his extra power. But all we can is speculate until someone actually gets one of his rackets and tells us all.

I do find it funny how some one said that how can you explain his power?! Also quite crazy how some feel Nadal is done. He will win a slam this year, at least one.

He uses a Aero Pro Drive (no cortex) with specs equal to 9.5g under the bumper and 2.5g in the handle.
