Other than one point in the tie break, the exact same score as their Aussie Open semi so far.

Conditions will be pretty heavy now I'm guessing that will favour Ferrer slightly of the two?

Amazing that Sharapova is going for a career slam. She's improved her clay game just enough to put her in a potentially winning position.

Thanks for the detail and have fun completing your degree paperwork this summer. Health and fitness is a good field - recession-proof;)

I'd say. Murray really doesn't like playing on heavy clay - I've seen him lose badly to Simon and Berdych in those conditions.

Still - he's 1 set all, people were talking about him getting destroyed.

Absolutely very gutsy effort from Murray, Courier said that if Murray could dig in extend the sets and the match that would be MUrrays best chance as Ferrer is not the best closer.

Thank you! Yes, it is recession proof if you know how to market yourself, of which I am learning more about. Thanks again and enjoy the match!

I'm not saying this just because he said something nice about Andy, but I have been hugely impressed by Courier in commentary. Such insight, with good humour too.

I wish the BBC would hire him for Wimbledon.

I have seen him commentate in America before he speaks with so much passion and you say gives a great insight! You are right he would be awesome at Wimbledon

They have rain on TV now - my patience is wearing thin with this broadcast. I suppose every field is recession proof if you really know how to market yourself...:D

IT is pretty amazing. It's sort of weird that she would have exactly one of each.

When Agassi won the '99 French he had exactly one of each.

agreed on Courier- it is tough for Murray & heavy clay is difficult mentally as well as physically. If Murray can get Ferrer going forward & then back(IN & OUT). Courier is talking about strategy being constant & Murray needs more of this...he will but just trading with Ferrer like this won't work...

Murray keeps hitting to that dangerous middle portion of the court and Ferrer has him on a string in nearly every point.

Did anyone catch that? At 1-1 deuce in the third set, Ferrer hits a winner and Murray reaches for his thigh, then realises his thigh was his excuse a few tournaments ago and then reached for his back! What a *******.

2 hours and 30 minutes and they've played essentially two sets. God help the winner if they go 5 sets.

Once again, Murray out of position and puts the ball right in the middle of the court where Ferrer is standing.

    2-1 Ferrer on a break.

That'll hurt Andy. He's rusty after the break

This break doesn't mean much.... every game is going to deuce and with these slow conditions the serve isn't as big of a weapon.

Really hope Murray can pull this out..

That rain delay helped Ferrer. Murray can barely keep a ball in play.

    3-2 Ferrer now.

Every service game, thus far, has gone to Deuce for Murray. Bad sign.

They really need to use the technology and stop having the umpire check ball marks. Clearly checking the wrong marks.

And now Ferrer can't find the court....

Great point from Andy to break back.
