yes talk tennis is a great place to come to for info and all things tennis, not to mention time wasting.

but here's one for time wasting while giving to a great cause....

    www.freerice.com

you answer a multiple choice question based on your vocabulary, and for every question you get right they will donate 20 grains of rice to the UN to help fight world hunger. 20 grains doesn't seem like much but in a few minutes you can be at 2000 grains. the questions are quite easy. pass this along to the people you know....

I did 1100 and stopped. It's hard for people like me non-native speakers!! :D Once the lever reached like 4-5, I didn't know lots of them.

That's answered in the FAQs of the site. They don't have some stockpile of rice - they use the money generated by banner ads displayed to people playing the game to buy rice and donate it, or they just donate the money.

My highest level was 39, and I got to 5,000 grains and then stopped. It's kinda fun for a while and it's for a good cause, so it's not a terrible way to waste some time.

aghand, your 22, how could you possibly have that much vocab already? i find that hard to believe, it took me a dictionary, wikipedia, and some thinking to get to 50, and im in medical school, so im not dumb.

I didn't cheat, but I'll admit I made many educated guesses by attempting to derive the meaning from the parts of the word or similar words. Did another couple thousand for charity.
