USF had full momentum but it looks like FSu has wrestled that back and looks to be the favorite to win now. USF will need another push.

Just trust me please. My job allows me to know certain things. He is only playing dubs and should be gone soon.

here are my ACC Rankings after this weekend, i allways had ND ahead of Duke, the rankings tell other stories, and after this weekend i ve to switch them
for now the ACC is real great tennis conference ! It is pure fun right now ! (And their rankings will go ahead..as there are a lot of good ranked teams in it to beat!)

    1. Virginia, clear no.1, nothing else to say, beating ND and Baylor very easily, play @ UCLA tomorrow and a following west coast trip, this is a great game.

    2. Duke - easy win vs VCU, the Elon loss, i will never understand i think

    3. Notre Dame , they looked helpless down at UVA, and UVA even had mitchell frank not available, and they nearly lost vs VTech, Greg Andrews is having a hard time
    .
    4. North Carolina - they ve only lost at Duke and now @ OSU, nothing to punish for and the OSU -match was very tight, they play Texas on Monday.

    5. Wake Forest - play VCU today, interesting also Wake should win this, were idle this weekend a great trip to Oklahoma plus State ahead.

    6. Clemson- plays intrastate today. I still want to jump them up but they not played anyone.

    7. NC State - they are top 20 now and i really wondering , they not do anything special but have a lot close 4-3 wins, vs Duke on Sunday !

    8. Florida State - tried to beat Florida and failed, then battled USF and survived, FSU can give the better ACC teams a good test, but do not know if they can really beat them, will Travel to Texas on Friday

    9. Virginia Tech - i feel this team is ready to make some noise, they ve lost 3-4 vs Lville, 3-4 vs Penn State and 3-4 now vs Notre Dame, tough luck

    10. Georgia Tech - battled Vols very well, an upset laid in the air. Segura and Showers were bright spots also vs Georgia earlier last week

    11. Miami - things coming together now, their results are getting better, but will not be good enough at all

    12. Boston College - crappiest team all acc..had no chance at Brown.....things are not fair for them to play in the ACC....

There was another exciting college tennis match in California today. UC Irvine tore up Boston College 6-1.

If FSU spent as much time playing as they did trash talking and yelling they might be too 10.

Hopefully Miami can take down Georgia Tech on Sunday. They need a conference win in the worst way.

FSU was expected to lose to Texas and didnt give a bad match vs the #7 team. Wake beat Oklahoma State. Only GT had the bad result.

Duke at NC State- This should be interesting.Duke has not played a tough match in a while and at Raleigh should be difficult. Nc State will be jacked up and wanting to pull the upset. I don't think the Wolfpack has enough consistency though. Their ranking of #19 is very flattering for them, probably their peak for the season.

Wake Forest at Oklahoma - OU is coming off a big win over Ohio State but they had better be ready for the Deacs Sunday. With that being said I don;t see a single court Wake is favored at. OU should win

Georgia Tech already screwing up the scores and the NC State scoreboard has stopped updating after the doubles ended.

Kan and Bogaerts get two nice mop-up wins. That will be good for their rankings.

Impressive win for Duke yesterday. Slapped the Wolfpack around pretty easily. #19 is way too high for NC State, they are more around a 30-35 team.

here are my ACC Rankings after this weekend, without the UNC win yesterday, i will put it in next week
and i love the ACC right now, great league !!!

    1. Virginia, clear no.1, still nothing else to say, they only lost the UCLA match, but nothing to punish them, they easily took out LMU. After that they played an ITF Future this week, Kwiatkowski easily qualified, Aragone won 1 round. Mitchel Frank pulled out of Main Draw.

    2. Duke - impressively easy win vs NC State, only 3 losses so far (the Elon-loss i will include as a fluke) play @ SDSU and @ Oklahoma this week

    3. Notre Dame , no match this week, so they fall behind UNC
    .
    4. North Carolina - no match, they will go up ahead of Notre Dame next week, if nothing is happening anymore, play NC State and WF this weekend (good games)

    5. Wake Forest - pressed Oklahoma really hard, Bogaerts is great, beat VCU and Okla State, good wins, would put them higher...but the teams above are even better! Texas and North Carolina ahead this week! Great !

    6. Clemson- . Same problem as Wake Forest, the teams ahead are great. Beat USC also they d some problems there, also beat Miami, but i ve to count the Wake Forest wins this week as better. playing FSU thursday also will not really help.

    7. NC State - were helpless this weekend vs Duke , and they are ranked too high (could change tonight)

    8. Florida State -played Texas very good, feel they are better as NC 'State, but NC State has the better wins until now

    9. Virginia Tech - clear no.9 right now, going on the Washington/Boise trip tomorrow

    10. Miami Getting better each week, with the win over GTech

    11. Georgia Tech - the Miami loss looks really bad, so they drop to 11, they even lost to Georgia State, clear no.11 now

    12. Boston College - crappiest team all acc..cannot see a win vs anyone..three opponent players must injure themself in a match, and boston maybe still would lose it...

From an FSU perspective they realky needed that win over Clemson. They have all the tough ACC matches left still. The NC State match will likely determine if they make the NCAA tournament.

UNC at NC State today. NC State has to prove themselves today and give a better showing than they gave vs Duke, but I don't think that it's likely.

Yes Boise is a very important match for VTech. Pretty much a must win to get the ranking boosted before they get into the teeth of the brutal ACC this year.

Correction UNC wins 4-3. Schnur won according to UNC twitter even though live scoring says differently.

Still shows Powell winning over Schnur even though NC State twitter says Schnur and UNC won. Bad bad stuff NC State - get in the game.

That is shocking, how tough can it be. I went to IU-Louisville yesterday and the sports media people had basketball on full screens on their computer so im sure live updates were secondary.

Remember when that happened to Miami last year vs Texas Tech? Showed that Miami had won but then corrected it to show that actually Texas Tech had won.

It was kinda weird. Memory's fuzzy but it was stalling, flipping and just all over the place so I think I doubted the outcome even though it said different. Maybe that helped me keep my sanity. The scoring ticked me off more than the actual result of the actual sport. And that is kind of sad.

I would say wishful thinking but I know that the NC State athletic department doesn't care that much about tennis. They probably legitimately believe NC State won. Maybe Powell put on a Carolina blue shirt for the last set.
