    i'm not too comfortable yet

even if they close out the three second sets they're up a break in

still need to close out a great player on 1 or get a comeback third set victory on 5

    long way to go

going to miss saba, dependable player that just worked his tail off to the tune of 100+ wins over 4 years

joins the list of guys like cunha, peter rodrigues, and the current two coaches, among others - you knew what you were getting every time they laced up

let's go levine and tahir - keep fighting

Schnur serving 0-1 and Murray serving up 3-2 per UNC twitter.

looks like levine lost his mojo once the pressure of being the winning point shifted to him

unc up a break on both remaining courts

Wake went 3-8 in the ACC, finished 10th. So you were right they did get a top 10 finish.

UNC Twitter said umpire calls time violation on Schnur to give duke break pt and Tahir broke on the next point for 2-2. High excitement.

considering the refs are probably from the triangle area where almost everyone likes unc or nc state and hates duke, maybe, not likely

not like they are duke employees in those chairs

    haha, well played

it's easy to claim to be a top team, harder to actually do it - a reality that posters who have some common sense and have been around college tennis for a while realize

yeah that's true. However I still don't like that call in that circumstance. Unless Schnur was being really over the line it probably should not have been called. Looks like it changed the momentum and potentially the whole match.

    awesome, way to go tahir

looks like levine miiiiight have had your back, regardless, but that's a big win at the top of the lineup - nice to not have to sweat out that third set tiebreaker

    GO DUKE

    that i can agree with

the less ref involvement the better, unless he was really pushing it, which someone who was at the match will have to comment on

congrats Mike. Big win for Duke, disappointing for UNC. What you said about Saba is correct. Really strong competitor he never gives in. I overheard him at the ACC tournament two years ago talking about these forums and what people say on here. So players do read this stuff.

I take it Red is done for the season at this point correct? Have you heard any updates. Extremely impressive year without him IMO.

no inside info on most duke tennis issues nowadays, including this one, too many miles from durham now and my time there no longer overlaps with anyone on the team

yep, team has done great with some pieces missing, had a good example in the women's team form last year to learn from

I guess Miami should be flattered that some think the FSU match result is in question.

Keep the faith. You guys didn't get pummeled by FSU. There's a chance.

Vtech vs Wake should be a good match in 1st round
    Clemson/ND
    UNC/NC State
in 2nd round could be also great

They're such a Jekyll and Hyde team. But not really sure if you can even call them that. They flopped in the doubles, made it interesting in the second sets but then flopped at the end like they were just teasing everyone. This team just doesn't have what it takes to play in the NCAAs this year anyways. Sort of glad the seniors are moving on and at least some changes are coming. They may be for the worse but at least its changing.

The good match tomorrow is Wake Forest vs Virginia Tech, In the season VT won by the slimmest of margins with Contini edging out Bogaerts in the clincher. In the first meeting Tech was able to get the bottom two courts with Wake playing Dumont and Bloom. Wake may try a different player besides bloom down there this time around. There may also be some mid line-up shuffling with Ho/Lee/Kan to try and get better matchups. This will be another very close match. VT needs to win to assure their spot in the tournament. They should be in regardless but they are at 40 and still could drop out if teams blow them get big wins in other conference tourneys.

    Clemson will kill BC

NC State will handle 5 player GT.

Miami will need to put out a colossal effort to beat FSU. Not impossible but also not likely.

With a 9 a.m. (10 p.m. my time), I might actually get some sleep tonight. It's probably the last match of the season for Miami. Might as well stare at Twitter and the Undead Stats for four hours as a send off to the departing seniors. It's the least I can do.

What a disaster. You can't do anything with the live scoring page on mobile. Can't shrink it, can't slide it over, can't see the scores. Brilliant

Ok, bet you have an apple phone and kirijax has android. Apple doesn't like adobe products so there are alot of instances when stuff just doesn't work right on an iPhone.

Clemson has won the doubles. Doing their own stats. The ACC page I guess isn't going to update that match?

Every other court is cruising. Well aside from 6 but I already know Lett isn't the best player there.

Do you know how to read a scoreboard? This isn't the first time you've given inaccurate information regarding a match. He was up 6-2 4-1

The ACC livescores also incorrectly had Harrington down in the 2nd set. Ansari was leading 6-2 4-1 when it was clinched.

I see Laaribi took his opening set 6-5 - and I thought they were done with the experimental scoring. ACC needs to get their act straight; have to take these scores with a grain of salt.

Wake loses 4-2 with Dumont serving at 5-2 in the 3rd. They win the dubs point and then only win at 5 and 6. Very, very disappointing end to the year. Something happened with this team. I don't know if they get a bid to the NCAA tournament. All the lineup shuffling all year, especially here late, is strange.
