All year 5 and 6 struggled. Now 5 and 6 seems to be on track but Lee, Kan and Ho are all struggling now.

It would have been hard for anyone at 5 or 6 to get any traction or confidence because he was switching them around all year. He started the season and finished the season with Dumont and Laaribi. In the middle he played Bloom, Kunz, and Billa. Of those 3, only Kunz had any success. As of right now, they lose Adam Lee, and don't have anyone new to come in next year.

Wake was supposed to have Renier Moolman from South Africa but he left the team and I was wondering where he was. Turns out he us at St.Joseph's now and will start play for them next year.

I always wondered what happened to Renier. I had the impression that he left due to eligibility issues, either academic or issues related to his amateur status. Clearly it wasn't the latter, or possibly, it was cleared up or he wouldn't be at St. Joes. When he left Wake, he went back to the tour.

there was an absolute downpour so people leaving the complex had to run to their cars. as i was running i noticed stan smith (father of duke coach ramsey smith and former #1 player in the world) and his wife were running right behind me. he can still move!

Virginia Tech giving Duke everything they want. 1,3 and 5 deep in a 3rd set. Corbett was trailing Levine in the 3rd 1-4 at one point but is now at 6-6. Contini leads Tahir in the 3rd 3-0. Duke can close it with Hemmeler at 3 leading Monteiro 5-4 in the 3rd,

and it states that Duke fought back from deficits. And thanks for the software company that designed the scoreboard and didn't test it beforehand to figure out that it didn't work with iPhones.

I think VT was the team that rallied. They were down 3-1 and lost most of the first sets. Corbett trailed Levine in the 3rd set 4-1 at one point. I don't recall where Duke actually made a comeback.

I recall Notre Dame taking the doubles point over Virginia at the National Team Indoors. If someone wants to check, that would make quite a contrast to today's scores. Of course, Virginia's pairings are completely different now.

Steiro will lose again, but #1 or #2 could go either way this time

Just got back from UNC-Duke semifinal match since my cousin is a Tar Heel. Dubs was very close and UNC came up with some clutch shots in the tiebreak at 2. Vick in particular was very good at net and really held the 2 team together.

In singles, I watched mainly #1 which was an interesting battle between two big guys who approach the game much differently. Schnur has a very good serve and then the first ball after the serve is very good. He also comes forward very well and finishes points at net well. Tahir on the other hand has outstanding groundstrokes and moves extremely well for his height. He can crank up his serve as well but it's not as consistent as Schnur's. Tahir came back to win the first after being a break down and then he was about to comeback in the second set as well after being down two breaks to bring it 4-5. I think he would've beaten Schnur. Interesting to hear that he played #6 last year.

Saba and Schneider was a baseline war with Schneider's forehand doing a lot of damage. He really bossed Saba around and he seemed very motivated. He generates a ton of pace for a tiny guy. Plays with a big heart and he's been a great coup for the Heels. My cousin goes to a lot of their matches and says that the freshman have revitalized that team and program so good for them.

Tough to imagine they'll beat UVa tomorrow however. They'll need to win doubles and then find a way to win 3 singles matches but my money is on a UVA 4-0 win.

    thanks for the report

    right
uva is big favourite and should not lose it
but unc has a little chance in doubles, and their Top3 can battle uvas top 3, also uva should win more there, uva will win 4-0, but it also can be only 4-2

Great Womens match at #3 singles (Mar at Duke wins vs Price at UNC).

I saw Stan Smith walking around too. He's the father of the Duke Men's Coach.

JC Aragone seems to have played a lot of late at the bottom of the UVa's singles lineup. Is he going to be in UVa's tournament top 6?
