Racquet: Dunlop Aerogel 4D 500 Tour

String: Victory Racquet Sports Acelon Synthetic TCF

    String Gauge: 17

    Tension: 55 lb

    NTRP Level: 3.5

    Time Length: 2 hours

Usual strings - Wilson NXT 16

Impression: Upon the first hit, I knew that these strings are extremely plush and comfortable. It literally felt "pillow-like." I have had problems using poly's and stiff synthetic guts in the past that hurt my wrist, and I just love how soft these strings play. I play with a one-handed backhand and mainly use slice on that side, and these strings were magic in slicing through the ball. While synthetics won't grip the ball as well as polyester strings, these strings gave me a good amount of topspin as well as the fantastic slice. I have never played with 17 gauge before but it was recommended since I am not a string-breaker. There was no signs of breakage or anything and I really enjoyed the more spin I got with the 17 than former 16 gauge strings I have used in the past. I found that these strings are powerful so it may take some adjusting to your swing style and speed if you tend to hit hard - but this can also be fixed with stringing your racquet at a higher tension, using 16 gauge instead of 17 gauge, etc. Loved these strings!

you should consolidate your reviews into one thread like many of the other reviewers. Nice write up.
