Adding more than an ounce to handle

I have read of several different methods (including twu guide and other threads) to add weight to the handle. I have a racquet with a hollow handle that I'd like to add 1–1.5 ounces to 5–7 inches from the butt cap. I was wondering if I could get some feedback from people who have used some of the different methods. I have 0.25oz fishing weights already I plan to use.

Methods:
1. Pack with cotton to hold the weights. Though I am worried the weights may move around. (How does one prevent the cotton from going into the hoop?
2. Use silicon in the handle, and imbed the lead weights in it.
3. Use spray foam and then imbed the lead weights in the foam.

I am looking for a permanent solution, but I would like to be able to test and vary the weight some. Also did everyone remove the butt cap, it is a trap door, but the staples are partly in the way. Another racquet I have had foam in the handle so I simply pressed the weights into the foam and packed cotton behind it (no rattling).

Try Blue tack. It can be used as a permanent solution or a temporary one. It's kinda like super putty, only it holds it shape better.

have you tried to wrap lead tape around the handle and overlay with your original or thinner grip?

It's alot easier to take out and ur handle wouldn't rattle?

It would require a lot of lead tape, two or more small packages (i.e. 1.5oz = 168 inches of 1/4 inch tape, or half that for 1/2 inch). I would think that quantity may significantly reduce the feel of the bevels or create a bulge. Though I have been tempted to add lead tape above where I grip the racquet.

I actually have a pair of racquets I want to match and thought lead tape on the handle may be more useful for getting the weights and balance just right.

I use silicone/blue tac and nails. A 6 inch nail weighs 0.5oz from my experiences. I cover it with blue tac, stick it to the wall and cover it with cotton, and she doesn't move at all. Great way to add a large amount of weight to the handle.

electrical tape (or duct tape), stick lead on the tape, then another layer of tape wider than the first, then lay the whole thing inside the handle of the racket (through the trap door). Make sure it is stuck on well.
You should be able to pull the tape off if necessary.
