A couple of people have mentioned wiring their own remote control to a ball machine. Has anyone got this to work yet?

I'd love to add this feature but hesitant to buy one of the controllers until I hear that it works.

I have an older Prince ball machine - precursor to the Sam P series.

i would like to do this too on my SP edge lite. Being able to control FEED and SWEEP, like with the SP star.

I would add a bigger battery too.

I may go ahead and try the remote on my own if I have to. I have no aversion to pulling out my soldering iron, I just prefer not to waste the time on something that doesn't end up working.

I changed out my battery last year and it made a big difference. NiCads lose capacity after a while. I was able to replace it much cheaper by going to a local Battery-Plus store and getting their recommendation. Take in your current battery so they can match the physical size & specs.
