I use Prince Top Spin 15L with duraflex in a Head Intelligence X5 OS. I was wondering if anybody has used the new Babolat Razor Spin and what they think about it compared to the Prince Top Spin 15L or any other spin strings?

    This is a pervasive topic...

I have my reservations as to the amount of spin a "spin" string really adds. I don't know that the extra cost is worth it.

I would try some Prince syngut/w duraflex in 17 gauge and go up a couple of pounds from your 15L.

Racquet head speed and angle of attack are the most important factors when trying to induce spin.

In my spin racquet, I use TNT 18 in the mains (to bite the ball) and TNT Ruff in the crosses (to rub the ball). It's a great combination that uses both schools of thought. It lacks a lot of power, though ! ! !

You might want to try gosen polyon flex 16. It is very durable and grips the ball well, especially for a polyester string. It is good in a hybrid as well.
