Whats the difference between these 2 shoes? According to adidas' website they both have all the same selling points like adiWEAR and the Torsion system. So as far as I can tell the build is identical. But the Team barricades are $50 cheaper. So in my mind these are a no brainer to get. The research I've tried to do leads me to believe that the team barricades don't have the 6 month guarantee. Is that true? Is there any other differences? Particularly build wise?

I own a pair of barricade V and loved it. But I now have a massive hole in it so I need a new pair. Now the hole took me 2 years to get the hole as big as it is so if the difference between 6.0 and Team barricades is the 6 month guarantee then I think its safe to say I should get the team version because I doubt I can tear a hole in 6 months. A year sure, but not 6 months.

Basically, what shoe should I get? It's down to barricades 6.0 and team barricades. I don't want other suggestions. I fell in love with the barricade lineup and that's all I want.

Big difference, B6 is stable, heavier, 6-m warranty, great traction, competitor's shoe.
The team is a POS -- soft, light, much less stability, no sole warranty...

I wrote a nice feedback under the Barricade Team user review. Check out what other people's opinion on there for more info!

My lady friends love the barricade team. Because its so light. Think about it its the sane weight as the Adizero Ace.

Something that light just can't be that stable/durable. Plus the upper is a soft synthetic leather which needs no break in. It just won't feel rock solid though.

I use the Team Competition now (which is a median between the Barricade and the Barricade Team) and found my first complaint last night. I went for a running forehand and while stopping, the "knuckle" of my right pinky toe kinda gave way and I sprained it slightly. I'd never get that in my B6 and B5 because the upper is just solidly built + the speedcut helps.

What weight do you consider to be Light, Medium, Heavy?
Just curious because it's confusing. And only TW shows the weights, I think.

The materials used are thinner and less of them. For example, a shoe that has a quarter size adiprene+ as opposed to a roughly three inch by four inch section still qualifies for marketing claims that the shoe has "our high end adiprene+ cushioning system for stability". The padding around the collar would be cheaper. The mesh thinner. The syn leather thinner. The adiwear 6 compound on the sole thinner. And so on. The result is a shoe which is made to look like Barricades but not react, provide stability or durability like the Barricades.

You are truly paying for a high performance shoe. The initial differences aren't all the obvious. You start wearing them and you'll start to notice things. For a pair of shoes, even the smallest detail can make a huge difference. You really do get what you pay for when it comes to tennis shoes.

I tried the barricade 6.0 and Team. The Team fit my foot much better because there is less curvature in the forefoot which caused me pain in the B 6.0. The Team is cheaper and fits easily. It's not the most stable shoe and it doesn't last long. The insole is not removeable and the midsole collapses in the front long before the outsole is worn and I'm just 160lbs. Still for a $60 shoe, it's a nice fit.

I'm glad to hear that the team comp is a very much like the b5's but disappointing to hear that it is a step down in quality. I might have to pick some of them up on sale.
