Don't think it would be comfortable playing tennis in those
No, you're not...
I am happy if I can get through 3 months with the 7's and maybe 4 months with the 8's.
THere are people that "kill" them in less than 2 months...
The 8's feel more brick like than the 7's. I've gotten used to them now but I wouldn't buy another pair. I'll prob buy the Djokovic 7's next.
The 7's gave me fits with their low cushioning. The 8's have much better cushioning and are just as supportive. I can definitely move as well in the 8's as the 7's. The annoying thing for me about the 8's is that my big toenails hate them, as they are both going to fall off in the coming months. Such was not the case with the 7's, but it was with the 6's.
I had the same problem and went down a half-size. No more foot sliding forward issues.
I don't think I could do that. They're pretty snug length-wise already.
Anyone have issues with where the arch is on the barricade 8s? The shoe fits great on my right foot but on my left it seems like the arch of the shoe is too far back. I've tried wearing them twice on the courts and both times it tore the skin off of my left arch and also the shoe was digging into the lower part of my ankle and tore the skin off there.
I've worn many iterations of the barricades and have never had any issues. I wonder if there is a defect in the left shoe. Any thoughts or suggestions?
By the way, I got these from the UK! And they are SWEET in person! Best B8 color offering by far!
I fixed my foot sliding issues just by lacing tighter in the forefoot... fixed the problem right away. Very impressed with my B8's best stability Ive ever had and it really helps my change of direction on court. Im at 6 months and they still look great and have good tread.
