What are the difference b/t the barricade III and IV besides the cosmetics?

The IV is fits a little big bigger, is heavier, is a little bit firmer, and most likely lasts a little bit longer. The III seems softer right out of the box and is definitely a tighter fit. I think the IV is just a tad big for each size.

The IV just has a little more of everything that the III has...

If you're interested in appearance, I think the IV's look much better.

The II's are the way to go IMO, IV's are too wide and take an eternity to break in...

    Depends who you buy from...

If you buy from a legitimate retailer, you'll get some sort of proof of purchase reciept making you eligible for the warrenty. You won't get that with everyone, so that is the first question to ask.

So when u send the shoe in, u also need it send a receipt to qualify for the outsole guarrentee?

I currently switch between IIIs and IVs every other time I play. I bought the IIIs about 2 months before the IVs and I belive the durability is about the same. The IVs are a bit heavier IMO. I agree with the previous post regarding the size of the IVs being slightly bigger and a little more break-in time. Both are excellent and you could do a lot worse than either shoe.

    Pffft, like I'd know
If the III fit's tighter, than it may be better for me, as I don't have wide feet. Good thread, I have one question though, how is traction on the Barricade III?

Humm... interesting. After switching from Barricade III to Barricade II, I'll stay with Barricade II unless Adidas makes Barricade V lighter.

The III's are looser or wider in the toebox. To me

the IV fits snugger. Some have compare dthe IV and II as similar fit while the III is wider in the toebox area.

To me the III is ok for casual wear but the IV fits snuger anf secure for play

Now I know that I'm not the only one feel the little extra room of the toebox of Barricade III.
