    are these only for Clay?
I really like them, and thinking of buying them, but i play 90% hardcourt and 10% Clay....

How are these on Hard surface?

Should i get the boom instead?

    Pffft, like I'd know
You can play on hard with them, and they will be nice. But be warned, they will wear out faster.

All Feathers (II, III, etc.) are supposed to be for clay, but many use them on hard surfaces, too, including me. You trade less weight (good thing) for less stability (bad thing). So, it's up to you.

If you want a light hard shoe, try the booms. The feathers are comfortable on any surface, but they won't last long on a hard court at all.
