Being new to the game I could use some help please. Have been playing about 3 times a week for 3 months have been using a Fischer Pro 1 Racquet that was borrowed, I would like to get my own and was suggested that I get a Head Metallix 10, I would like eventually to get to become a 3.5 to 4.0 rated player, should I be playing with an oversize racquet or maybe some other type:confused: please let me know.

Whatever you do, DO NOT get the Metallix 10. You're playing with a racket that's very heavy, very control oriented, and it seems that you're all right. After all, you've been playing for three months with it.

If you like the Fischer, get one for yourself. If you want something with more power, get something like a LM Radical.

The Metallix 10 is just too powerful. My advice: don't get it.

Also, you probably want to demo some rackets to find the right one for you.
