Advise on how to play artificial turf courts

    Hey,
    Please tell me the tactics on how to plsy on it. I always play on a hard court

    Lol yeah the one down side to being an American tennis player. WTB a clay court.

    I've played on turf a couple times from what I've seen the court is very soft and generates low bounces so slices may be your friend. It's also a bit slower than hard courts and depending on the conditions you may or may not slide, so if you've never played on turf or clay before, it'll be a tough adjustment.

    My recommendation: Volley and make the sliding and bounce adjustments irrelevant ;) once you get used to it, you can play the baseline more.

    Its just like grass. The ball stays low so its easy to finish off at the net.
