Well, just wondering what your guys' setup is for your APDC. Like where you put lead tape and how much. You know, things to get the best performance out of the racquet.

    At this moment: 5g in the handle and 7g under the bumper, Custom dump, supergrap, PHT 16 @ 58. Strung weight 341 [300g frame + 12g lead tape + 3g dampener + 6g overgrip + 20g string]. Swingweight: 348.

I'm still trying different setups but i like this one.

I have two aerostorms and the only weight change was adding a leather grip to each. It really made them head light, I wish I had a balance board to find out exactly how much so. I love the feel of them, but they have really become sort of Prostaff'ish and have lost some of that innate "spinniness" that you keep hearing people refer to them as having. I am kind of interested in what a apdc would feel like with leather grips and possibly some weight in the handle? Has anyone every added leather grips to apdc?

more stable, balls more depth, bigger sweetspot, more power when hitting with same headspeed, powerfull serves..

it's more physically demanding, less maneuverability , bad for the wrist and elbow..

Well, I never had problems with this racquet. So your saying this is a very good setup. Rate it out of 100% performance.

    Hola nadal,

I have two grams of lead @ 12. Then, don't forget the Pro Hurricane mains @ 56 with any nylon string cross @ 58 (I play with Conquest) all 17 g.

    Good luck.

98%. It is a great setup. It fits great in mine gameplay. I've tried several setups and it is by far the best one. I will probably stay with this setup forever.

    Nadalfan,

I play mine w/ leather and Overgrip (adds a little bit of weight making it big more headlight) and I have strung with Head SonicPro @ 56...I love the setup, great racquet head speed and lots of spin off of the string bed, so far the best setup on any racquet to date for me.

I totally agree. I added two grams each at 9 and 3 and get the exact same thing.

Well...I have a AeroPro Drive Cortex and I didn't change much.
I changed the strings to Tecnifibre...and putted a blue custom damp and a VS original overgrip.
    But apart from that...

I think the truth is: Nadal plays with a Babolat Aero Pro Drive racket with Babolat Duralastc strings and has 15g of lead tape at the top of his racket under the bumper and 5g of lead in the handle.

I've already tried this setup but 15g under the bumper increases the swingweight a lot and I am not good enough to like this setup. Maybe 10 is ok but at this moment I have only 7g under the bumper.

    @ OP,

What type of game do you play...the most important part is think of your game w/ the racquet...what do you feel like you aren't getting out of it as opposed to asking us how we have ours setup...For example I felt like I needed more weight in the handle and little bit of a lighter balance so I could get my backhand around quicker and volley better so I added a leather grip

Sounds good. Been comparing. Might try out sharp's setup or Nadal's.
