If Rafa hadn't made it to #1 and all the wannabees didn't buy the APDC, then I guess we would have had a new model this year. Rafa's (deserved) success has made a lot of money for Babolat and probably increased the life expectancy of the current racket by a year.

Paint job. Playing with different racquet which is painted to look like marketed one.

Or in this case... just a different paint job on the stock frame when the new version arrives.

All kidding aside for the GT tech, i know the Aero design of the frame really do work. It really does increase your swing speed. ONLY tech that i know of that can do this. I don't know why all racket company copy this ?

What the hell are you going on about now? I can't understand what you're trying to say.

And the only real tech. that can increase your swing speed potential is the o3 series from Prince. Holes in the racquet = faster potential swing speed

^^yep. swings fast and feels like junk.
but the aero beam does make the racket seem to swing a bit faster. on a different topic: wish they made an aerostrom limited with a 95 sq in head. that would be sick!!!!

I am just not a big fan of the Cortex technology. Takes away alot of feeling. I have never hit with the previous model of the APD, but would be curious to try out the feel of it

If you don't know. . then you're obviously not getting any :).

Seriously though, it's coming close to time for a new model.
