I've put some lead tape (5 grams) at 12 o'clock and I'm thinking of putting some (how much?) at 9 and 3 for greater stability. I've read that Nadal only puts additional weight at 12 and in the racquet's butt.

Do 4grams at 3 and 9. It's gonna hit amazing. Your groundstrokes and serve will pick up at least 15 mph.

4 grams in total or 8 grams in total?

Stability you will gain, but racquet head speed you will lose..

    Do 8 total.

    8 + 5 + 320 stock weight = very solid yet maneuverable.

Isn't it interesting that Nadal only puts additional weight at 12? None at 3 and 9.

I read that he put only 3gr at 12, but do you really believe his racket is only around 325grams? That's too light.

That's in addition to the 9.5 gr already there.
