What do you guys use in your APD? Could I get enough feel and comfort from a full polyester string setup with this racquet? Or would I have to hybrid?

What's your string of choice is this frame?

Me and my friends swapped racquets for a class and I tried his APD+pro hurricane. Lotta spin, wish for more comfort.

I'm in the process of trying many new strings right now, but so far I've not found a hybrid that is comfortable enough. Best string for performance/feel in this racquet, to me, is Gamma Livewire Pro.

So I guess, a full polyester setup would feel like a brick right? I've seen a lot of people hybrid this racquet.

Full Gosen OG Sheep Micro 16 @ 57 is what I've been using for a while in a few of mine. Decent playablility, durability, and comfort.

Just tried one that was strung with Prince 15L tourney syn gut a bit tighter and the sweetspot felt very small in comparison with the Gosen.

In general poly hybrids are also pretty harsh if you don't nail the sweetspot often, but you might notice it even more in the APD.

Just curious ... has anyone tried a kevlar hybrid in the APA? If so, what can you state about it.

If it was acceptable, it might be an answer to shear breakage which has seemed more common with the APD and poly.

I have one APD strung with wilson reaction 16g at 58lbs. My other I have strung w/ Cyberflash 17g mains at 56, babolat attraction 17g crosses at 58. At first I preferred the wilson reaction, but lately I've come to like the hybrid set up. I feel that I can swing harder at the ball and still stay under control. It also feels as if I'm getting more spin with the hybrid setup. That may be a consequence of the harder swings more than the strings. Hope this helps.
