So it's commonly believed that mains affect the feel of the stringbed more than crosses. However, I recently played with a full job of blue gear ultra spin and couldn't help but notice that the texture was rubbed off on the crosses before they rubbed off on the mains. Is it just my hitting style or is this generally true?

I find the ridges on my tornado wear off on the mains first...
On a different note, how'd you like the bgu?

I think BGU is a great string. Good enough to keep my reel around. Great spin, good power, and surprisingly good feel. Only downside is that it takes a little warmup for your arm to get used to it.
