I'm presently reading the Agassi autobiography and it got me wondering about something...

Andre's frame preferences as re static weight, SW, head-light balance, customization preferences, stiffness RA, etc...

Basically, I would appreciate hearing about his specs and general frame preferences; plus any general impressions or thoughts on the frames he played over the years (I believe he played dense pattern Prince, Donnay and Head frames but don't know any specifics really.)

    Thanks,

    R.

Someone back me up on this but I believe he used a 20x21 pattern for a while.

What do you think to Open, Ross? I've just finished reading it and thought it was rather good - Agassi's memory must be amazing for him to include some of the details that he does.

As for the SW on Agassi's frame, I can't say I'm overly surprised by it - I mean, a 340 SW isn't exactly low.

Yeah, I've only just started it. Very interesting and pretty hard to put down!... Re 340 SW, it does surprise me just because I thought his generation all used far beefier frames.

I'd still be keen to hear what ppl think were his specs (static weight, stiffness RA, etc) and more details re the specific frames he played...

Er, I don't suppose anyone has ever hit with 1 of his frames??... if so, I'd be curious to know how it performed, what its traits were.

    Cheers

was watching Agassi v Sampres at Indian Wells on Tenis Channel and they flashed up a fact that made me laugh, something to the effect of Agassi was one of the first pros to incorporate titanium into their racquets. Nice try TC, he was one of the first to use a titanium PJ :)

SW 418 for Murray and 405 for Moya, seems way too much...

Pretty sure he mentions leaving Donnay. I recall the part where he talks about Bolletieri making him sign with Donnay and the adjustment he had and he briefly mentions how he severed ties with Nike but doesn't go into detail.

He's alot older now. His muscle mass has been lost. He needs SW of 320-340.
