Yeah, I am sure about this after looking at his racket. Look at these spots, how could a paintjob does it ?

No bro, that is my racket. I compared it with his racket I have seen on TV.

easily, using a different shade of the silver would give it a look of being raised up. if you look at the pic of his "i.radical" its jsut painted there but from a distance (TV) it looks like it.

They do it with paint. There was a huge pic of Mutis in one of the papers after he beat Roddick and it very clearly showed his "painted" LM prestige. The liquid metal ridges are just painted a darker shade of silver and look almost grey. Looks very real. I'm sure Agassi's LM radical is exactly the same.

If you think Agassi uses a real LM radical I have some nice land in Florida and a bridge in Brooklyn I'm selling. You interested???

Hey Richie Rich- I am interested in the Brooklyn Bridge. What is your asking price? Also, I have a Agassi LM OS with raised ridges, if you want to work out a trade. LOL

I thought that agassi used a custom made LM.. Though it's not the same as the store brought versions, it is LM nonetheless.

yes, a different shade of silver can make it look like a LM Rad.
But agassi does use the LM Radical in 104 square inch custom, which is not available for sale.

Yeah, I heard at the US Open that Agassi started playing with a smaller head(104) in order to get more head speed. It was Patty Mac who said this, so I don't know if it is true or not. I think it is naive to think he isn't playing with a complete custom racquet. I mean it is Andre Agassi.

What does it even mean to call it a LM radical? Everyone seems to agree his frame is something above 13 ounces, so whatever it is has playing characteristics quite apart from what you buy at a pro shop.

The picture is his racquet!!!

There's a thread somewhere with a picture of Agassi's bat showing that it's just a trick of the paintwork, i'll try and find it!!!

Considering the fact that Agassi hasn't changed racquets in at least a decade, it's difficult to believe that he's changed racquets now.

    naive

    as hell.

The person who started this thread is phuquing clueless.

Agassi had his sticks tuned up at our club last week, 104inch heads and painted box frames.

I thought we already had this post?

His goofy LM boxes are just stripes... almost looks like white on grey or something... zero texture. I bet if we asked Andre about his frame he'd think we're nuts. hah

doesn't matter what head size or weight Agassi use. As long as it is the LM material is what really count. I believe he's playing with the LIQUIDMETAL it's just customize to his preferences like a slot of us tweaking our racquets with leadtapes and etc..he just happen to be Agassi so HEAD customize it for him instead of doing it himself...Most of us could not play with his racquet anyways...

The picture of Agassi and Elton John in this month's tennis magazine (w/ the Sampras interview) clearly shows the two-tone gray paint on the "Liquidmetal" portions of the racquet.

The grommet on this Liquidmetal racquet he is using right now looks like the one from the original Ti. Radical or the Intelligence Radical, but it definitely doesn't look like the Liquidmetal grommet cuz it doesn't have the raised bumps on it like the Liquidmetal does. Later

    That's what I noticed too.
The different shades of silver are just to obvious.

it might not be. I met a guy in cincinatti who was playing with a "liquid metal perstise" and he let me hold it and he showed me those spotes and they were just a paint job, even though they looked so real.

Actually..if you go look at the Liquidmetal Agassi Jr, on the thing that they put on it, it shows Agassi using a real Liquidmetal racquet.

Kind of ironic, since the Jr. doesn't use real liquidmetal..<_<

If you look at a pic of Agassi real racquet, you'll see that it has a box beam like the PS 6.0 and not a rounded beam like the LM Radical. Maybe he's using an old PS 6.0 Largehead with a LM Radical paintjob?

I tend to think his racquet plays NOTHING like the retail LM Radical. I'd bet his racquet is just all graphite or graphite/kevlar. None of this Liquid Metal nor intellifibre BS.
