    Wow, that was fast.

TV deal can't be far behind, can't imagine advertisers letting Agassi play on a tour and not jumping on board...

Looks like Courier needs to be careful who he lets on his tour lest he not have a spot!

Tennis Channel already carries the events - but now I'm sure they'll get even better coverage. Good news all around.

But from what I understand, they don't have Sampras and those other guys committed as of yet to the event that Andre will play.

No. Not yet. Of course Jim will be there, Mac won it in 2008 so he'll probably be back...I'm sure they are working hard to make sure the lineup will be good. Regardless - just the fact that Andre is staring to come out to play is great for the tour.

Cool. Very cool. Sampras vs. Agassi. Anyone want Agassi or do you think Sampy will still hold an edge? :) CC

Sampras vs Agassi would be amazing, but just seeing Andre playing again will be great. =D

  16. Sweet! I'm considering a trip to NC or AZ in the fall. I had tickets to Andre's last match ever and got bumped by the rain delay and demand.

Now just get rid of slow-*** johnny mac and his endless complaining and bring in Goran or Edberg.

    Nice

will be good to see Andre in action again...they have a pretty good line up...did not know that Rafter came on board. He is not that old, is he?

it's a pretty good generational mix of players, I think....

wish they had more events....and maybe a few more guys in the mix

the Seniors Tour was cooking up until 2001...then it went flat (9/11 and downturn in the economy)...Connors got out and it seemed pretty rudderless for awhile...

Last event I saw was in NYC's Central Park in 2000 or 2001?? (which I heard was a financial bust)....then it went dark for some time...

Courier's company, InsideOut Sports and Entertainment, is running the Outback tour. ISE is a professionally run organization that seems pretty serious about expanding the tour. As always, ticket sales, player commitments and big corporate sponsorships are the keys.

The tour deserves our support because the core players are very entertaining and still amazingly skilled.
