I was cleaning out one of my Tennis bags, and found this TW invoice from 2000. Ahhh...how time has changed and the price of my beloved POG has increased ;)

TW can you bring back this price? :)

I still don't see how you can play with the POG mid. The Wilson HPS6.1 and POG mid were the worst-feeling rackets I've ever played with.

Preference, preference. Perhaps, it was the racquet I learned to play tennis on when I as about 7. I'm 28 now, so I guess I learned to develop a feel for it and I know how it plays and know how to tame it. It may work for others and may not. That is what so good about tennis, is different playing styles and different choices to enhance/compliment thier playing style.

Overtime, I did play/experiment with other racquets, like Wilson ps 85, yonex, and such, but I keep going back to the POG mid. I still, on some occasion demo other racquets at my pro shop, but non has really impressed me to put away my POG mid.

Isn't the POG mid 93 sq. in. and not 90 sq. in. as indicated on your invoice?

Yeah, prices for racquets sure have gone up a lot over the past few years. :(

They are the same racquet. Prince renamed it. Just like the POG OS was listed as 110 sq, and now listed as 107.

I reckon you're getting off lightly gmlasam. That POG has only gone up 10 dollars since 2000 which isn't too bad at all for something still so popular. I'd be more worried when the price starts to drop because we all know what that means...

I'm still kicking myself for not buying a few of those sticks when I had the chance. If I only knew then what I know now :(
