What racquet is she really using? Is it a Prince TT Warrior MP or a More Control? What string and tension? Just curious...

    Thanks a lot!

    Hi,

I heard on British TV last year at Wimbledon that it is actually the more control. Unfortunately I don't know about the string.

    Hope this helps,

    Liam

It is a Japanese version of the More Control, which the official specs is a tad ligther than the normal version. The difference in the Japanese version is both sides are white, while the normal version has one side painted dard blue.

Ai Sugiyama's NASDAQ Frames and String

Ai Sugiyama uses Prince Gut 16 Gauge strung at 55 pounds in a Prince Control Db 800.

The frame is grommet-less on outside, but has grommets on inside. I wonder how they manage that?

I strung about 10 frames for her at the NASDAQ.

To me, that looks like a Warrior or a Response because there are two open areas at the end of the blue Double Bridge in the More Control, but this one does not. One obvious part is that the shaft does not separate into two when it reaches the grip like the More Control.

Good point Swan song. I despise that "Air Handle System" on the More racquets and the NXG.

yeah, i think it is a painted response or warrior for sure. It looks a lot different than the db. Dampener of course is the biggest difference
