The unheralded Spaniard has been doing consitently well on the clay this year. Including an impressive 6-2, 6-0 defeat over Guga at Barcelona and has also taken Nadal to 3 sets this year. He is in the quarters at Rome, and has a reasonable draw against Ferrer. How dangerous is Martin??? perhaps a darkhorse for RG.

Gotta love those short guys with one-handers!

Martin has indeed been enjoying a great year, and could be a MAJOR spoiler at RG. The way he's playing now, Alberto is capable of eliminating any of the tournament seeds on a given day. Nobody in Paris will want to see him in their section of the draw.

Yeah. While I don't give him any chance of actually winning, he could definitely stir up some trouble... and David Ferrer, too.

I downloaded a clip of him, and he has the worst looking one handed backhand around and he uses a Babolat PD. He is such a grinder though, with alot of loop on hes groundies.
