About 5 months I bought a pair of Nike Air Zoom Vapor 3's, and yesterday they ripped, and now there is a hole at the top of the shoe. Now I'm looking for some new shoes, becuase I know those are gonna wear out really quick. So I want a relatively cheap shoe, that is pretty light, and isn't going to wear out and break in a short amount of time like 6 months. Any suggestions? Thanks.

Barricade II (not particularly light but lighter than the Barricade IV)

I second this. Probably the best all around tennis shoe I've had in years actually. Runs a bit narrow IMO, but that's good for me..

    Cheers.

Have any of you guys worn the Breathe Free 2's or 3's. If so which one do you like better? Thanks.

I would say if you can get 6 months of use out of any pair of tennis shoes, then you should count yourself lucky. Just think of the beating they take when you run and slide around the tennis courts.

BTW, the BF II is a very comfortable shoe, but not sure it will last you any longer than 6 months though.

I am a big fan of the Breathe 3's. I"ve had about 4 pairs over the last 1 1/2 years.

The Breathe 3's have pleanty of cushion and a good, durable toe guard. It also has a good tread for both hardcourts and clay.

I like a shoe with a bit of room in it, but if you light a slightly lighter, tigher fit, you may check out the cages or the Breathe 2's.

The BF 3's seem really good, so I might get those, but I was looking through the tw shoe site and I saw the Adidas CC Boom 2's and they are very light, and cheap. But I haven't heard anything about them on these boards, so I'm just wondering if anyone has them and knows anything about them. Thanks.

You didn't like the Vapor 3? It's my favorite shoe right now.
