Is that Feliciano Lopez? I think all he wants is to beat Roddick or Federer at least once before he retires.

If you're white, usually you get more money around the year for Xmas/birthdays than Asians do. My birthday was last week, the folks gave me a mind blowing TEN dollars 8)

    Asians celebrate Christmas, too.

And lots of people get Christmas gifts.
It has nothing to do w/race.
    It's a cultural thing.
And a fun thing. Cheers! [IMG]

dude, the stereotype was made by the person who wrote, "If you're white, usually you get more money around the year for Xmas/birthdays than Asians do."

    My statement .....
... is what is known as a fact, not a stereotype.

the generalization stereotype about "white" and "asian" is a racial discussion that has no place here.

I get it that there are people who want to prevent anyone from having a fun discussion about Christmas, even to the transparent extent of injecting the poison of race. But If you want to argue about whether Koreans are Asians or not, start a thread about that subject in rants and raves and I'l join you there.

This thread is about people's tennis-related Christmas wishes.

    Good call, Showstopper! [IMG]

"From the baseline, our team was impressed with the solid feel and the amount of control they were finding with the K Blade Tour. Spencer's skepticism concerning the Mid headsize was quickly set aside after a few groundstrokes on the court. "Weighing in at 11.8 ounces strung, along with the leather grip, the KBlade Tour felt very good in my hand. Good in the hand doesn't always transfer well to actual hitting, though in the case of the KBlade Tour, it most certainly did. This racquet provided a crisp, solid feel on both forehands and backhands. The weight was ideal for me, in that it was beefy enough to provide some mass and stability coming through the ball, yet light enough to maneuver and put a good stroke on the ball. Having enough time and means to experiment with string and tension set-ups, I found a liking to using a soft poly at around mid tension. For my game, this proved to offer plenty of pop and feel, as well as spin. The tight string pattern worked well with that set-up also, as I enjoyed the accuracy of my groundies as well as the provided depth. I was certainly skeptical of what my results would be hitting with a 93 square inch racquet, but the skepticism was quickly set aside when I realized I wasn't being harshly penalized for off-center hits like other player's sticks I've hit with. The KBlade Tour was forgiving, considering its headsize. I was thrilled when hitting from the baseline with this stick."

What do I want? Not much, really. A new mp3 player of some description would be handy. Oh, and a new video card, but I don't really need one of those.

Tennis related? Nothing I can think of.

I actually want the non-tour version, or an nPro Open 100. Both excellent sticks.

Last year a LOT of money was spent on christmas gifts that were never used or even liked. I understand the whole spirit of Christmas thing but I just felt like it was such a waste of money (my parents spent $300 on clothes that I haven't worn yet!); so, I put up a list on the tree of all the gear I needed/wanted so that anybody who wanted to get me a gift could choose from there.

I was criticized like crazy for it and they said it didn't matter what was on the list that they were gonna get me whatever THEY wanted. Luckily my wife was ok with it and she did get me a new PK5g (which was on the list). But as far as the rest of my family goes...they weren't very receptive of the idea. :(

    P.S.
Don't think I was putting things on there that were very expensive either. There were strings as low as $4.99 on that list.

    PK5g @ $119 was the most expensive :)

Other things I put on the list were:
    Tecnifibre V02 Max 12-pack bag
    Asics Gel Resolution Tennis Shoes
    Xuron Stringing Tools
And a Whole bunch of different strings ranging from $4.99-34.99

but I don't expect to be getting anything else on the list

Like I said, my brothers critiziced me for doing it and said I was just wasting paper.

I do want to say this...they spend every day hinting to everyone what they 'wish' they had and how awesome this or that is...how is that different from putting up a list?!
