My son has a few small blotches of a red rash on the tops of his feet, that seem to flare up just after tennis practice. Also, when he was younger, he temporarily wore a wrist watch with a leather band. After a couple of weeks, he had a red rash around his wrist. This week he was examined by a dermatologist, who diagnosed that he is allergic to leather, or the chemicals used to process leather. I guess this means no more Prince T10s. My question is, has anyone else experienced this? If so, have you found a replacement shoe, without leather, equally supportive, that does not cause a rash? I would like to stay with Prince since that is his sponsor, but health comes first. Thanks for any suggestions, Prince or otherwise.

In case anyone was interested, the solution to the problem is SealSkinz waterproof socks (available at CSP Outdoors).
