Alpha and Wise

    Apparantly it will now cost an extra $25 to get the Wise tension head modified to fit the new alpha machines (with wider bars),

    Whats that tape on his hand... Is it cause he has a blister? Cause I get blisters there a lot and sometimes cant hold the racquet...

    yeah, thats sports tape for his blisters

    yeah, safin had tape and blister pads all over both hands at the French Open. He had to take several time outs to get the trainer to put on more tape during the two matches I watched him play on ESPN.

    About a year ago some of the boys on our high school team wore a glove on their hand-- this probably would help with blisters, but was done in this case because it was a fad, a style thing. They are not playing enough tennis at this age to warrant it, unless it's to cover up a crappy grip, but then why not just use an overgrip.

    Where can I get those tape? Some days on 3rd set I can barely hold a racquet...

    Ask your trainer. Or go to a pharmacy or sports store and ask for sports tape (and gauze pads) and blister pads.
