According to Alpha's website the Pioneer DC Plus is now 429 (was 399) and the revo is 599 (was 549 I think) others might be changed as well but i dont remember the original prices. The Revo and Pioneer seem to be exactly the same as they were. I don't get it.

Ummm....things cost more after time and demand....called inflation. Gamma recently raised some prices as well...X-2 went from 135 to 155 I think. Sucks!!!

Purchased mine first of July and they said that they were raising prices. Supply and demand. Still a good price for a great product.

The price of oil can affect the price of many items that must be shipped from China. Also the dollar is weak against foreign currencies, this makes foreign made items more expensive for us.

yeah, i've noticed this alot lately. the x-2 is now 159 on most sites, and i bought mine for 20 bucks cheaper. looking to sell it to a friend for 130, planning on upgrading probably to a revo..

volume of stringing is just putting too much pressure on me to get them done fast..it seems like i'm only ever stringing racquets now..

I called up Alpha around noon today (Yesterday, saying it's 2 am now) prepared to purchase a Pioneer DC Plus and then I noticed the price difference from literally 24 hours earlier. I asked Mark if he could give me the old price but said he couldn't do it for the Pioneer but he could for the Revo 4000. It also just so happened that the Pioneer was on a 5 week backorder, so.... I ended up getting a Revo for $549 :).
