Mets knuckleball pitcher R.A. Dickey has thrown three one hitters this year. His career was in limbo after Texas dropped his $825,000 signing bonus as a draft pick after they discovered no ligament in his elbow. Now he's on the verge at age 37 to be Cy Young Award winner and an All Star. Quite an interesting story. Here is a good interview with Dickey...

As a Mets fan I hope that he continues to do well and that the team does everything they can to keep him. :)

One can't miss the intelligence of Dickey, he is extremely bright and well spoken - he studied literature at Univ of Tennessee. GO METS

Met fan ever since 97 when I was 5. Such a surprising year, I thought we'd be in last and 8 games under .500 at this point in the season. Really proud of this team and they have a legit shot of getting a postseason bid if they keep this up. LET"S GO METS!!!
