This is one of Ana’s personal, match-used E-Zone 100 frames. The frame is well-used, but there's no sticker in the throat indicating the tension though, the previous match strings were probably replaced with fresh strings -Wilson/VS natural gut in the mains and Luxilon Big Banger Alu Power in the crosses. More pics to come, and I will also weigh and balance it later if anyone’s interested...

From reading an interview in a magazine with Ana she says she does 1.25 gut, probably Babolat VS in the mains at 55 lbs. and the Luxilon in the crosses at 53 lbs. That racket is a nice acquisition!!

Can you compare it to the retail version? Does the head size or beam width look different? Thanks.

Doesn't seem to be a personalised racquet, at least not with her name on it. Unfortunately not, I had to pay for it at a charity auction :)

So the Ana's racket has a smaller head and a thinner beam than retail.

Ana is using a PJ on her old RQIS 1 Tour XL95.

    Head size is 95"

Can't be... the throat is different where the two beams meet the handle.

Also beams and bottom part of the hoop have different profiles. I heard it is a 96" racket.

...it actually looks like genuine switch, based on where the shaft starts at the handle. I've been able to interchange the Ezone 100 with the RQis1 Tour 100 bumper set, so the different bumpers don't shock me.

That is what I am seeing.
So we can say for now she isn't actually using the retail EZONE 100. Options are:
RQiS 1 Tour XL 100, V-Con Wide Drive Japan only or a different racket.
However I must say that the EZONE is a great racket just as it is.

Ana is still using her old RQIS 1 tour 95 head. If you look at the photo's, you can tell by looking at the grommets.

I held her previous racket and that was a real RQiS tour 95, ofcourse customised to desired specs but the mold was a real RQiS 95. Ana was printed inside the beam.

I don't think we can really tell the size of the head by measuring it against the stock EZONE 100.

Measure the VCORE 98D vs. the RDiS 200. Both are 98 head size, but the VCORE has longer mains.

Wow Fabfed, this is definitely great stuffs, even as a person that almost hardly post like me has to give you the thumbs up with all your posts of the Fed rackets previously and now this Ana racket.
It would be nice definitely to know about the balance and weight of this racket too to see if Ana has changed anything from her RQis1 tour days of 335g 34cm balance according to Greg Raven's site. But your balancing board.... :)
Anyway being a long term YY user i have already notice that her racket grommets as well as the throat dimensions has been different from retail version from day one and now is even more evident.
However as some posters has mentioned that her racket is just a paintjob version of her previous Rqis 1 and not a direct switch, which i think may not be entirely true. From the side profile of this ezone it definitely has the typical characteristic of the original Rqis range of rackets - largely thin down from top of handle to racket bridge then thicken again up towards the hoop, but then again the more edgy hex beam of typical Rqis range is not evident and the racket beam on the hoop is similar to retail ezone, pointy at the edge. Also the round up dims above the racket handle is very ezone rather than the Rqis range. The racket head size seems to be definitely smaller from the retail 100 in the pictures but there is no way to be exactly sure how big. I would suspect that this racket is probably a special mold made for her utilising ezone technologies but in terms of beams width and head size still remained similar to her old Rqis1. Presumably this would sound logical as pros dont easily switch rackets as we all know and while the racket dimension remains similar it would provide an easier transition to newer racket tech. What we obviously dont know is the inner layup, but the beam shape of this racket is surely not the hexy Rqis1, and more toward the retail ezone. In addition, i suppose that by using normal grommets unlike the retail version is to provide more feel on impact. This is very evident and just like the new vcore 100 when comparing to the ezone for both retail version in play, those retail grommets with those little while bits dampens the balls almost too much and provides a muted feel, probably good for the general public instead.
Just my 0.2 cents but good for us to think about regarding this stick?

Oh also i cant not work out the numbering from the side profile pic that you have. As some of us know that yonex rackets have codes that signify which country it is being sold, such as your retail stick in pic is SP (if i can barely work out) and is probably for Singapore/ HK/ asian pacific market while the Ana stick i cannot work out clearly but it reads differently, although the stick itself dont have Ana's name written on like previous Rqis.
I also dont think Kirilanko's stick has her name written on, has anyone got more information on this??
