Andreas Seppi in challenger events?

    Question for those who know. He is ranked 22nd in the world, why is this guy playing in challenger tournaments against people ranked 150 and stuff like that? Very confusing.

    is this happening now? If so, the obvious answer if because there are no other tournaments to play..

    his hometown event is a good reason as well

    In case anyone wants to know why he needed a wildcard, at Challenger events, a player in the top 50 is not allowed to play unless he is given a wildcard. Top 10 players are not allowed to play challenger events at all.
