It is a dangerous shot-too dangerous, look how he bossed Andy Roddick last year in the French Open.

Would rather have his, Federer's or Nadal's?

Yes It's a big forehand but it's far from the best in the world. I'd rather have Federers or Verdasco's anyday.

    Fed's and Nadal's are better.

either federer's or nadal's, andreev's is a great weapon and by far his most effective shot but its not nearly as versitle and consistantly lethal as fed's and nadal's

Also you can rush Andreev on his forehand. It takes a lot of preparation.

Andreev has an amazing FH. I got to see him in person in two matches, from about 10 feet away. So much action on the ball. He might have more topspin than Rafa.

His forehand against Roddick was just a once in a lifetime performance. If he could hit half that many winners on a usual day then he could be a GS contender, but it the average performance that counts.

Everyone and the dog seem to hit many more winners than usual against Roddick.

But his serve has became very effective now. I'm an Andreev fan and I've seen some of his recent matches... he was acing his opponent left and right (Berdych, Almagro.. etc).

Yeah but the service motion is kinda weird lol.

That's such an ugly, mechanical forced motion. Of course it's amazingly good but god that's ugly.

i;d take nadals over feds cuz its more consistent and he can also hit it flat and hard if he wanted to (evident in his match against hewitt at AO about 2 years back)

True. Gonzo's forehand is a force of nature.

Federers forehand dominates its revolutionary, as it differs from the bent arm forehands of today. He can hit it flat with spin and take balls on the rise.
