    He still is... only his footwork is not up-to-date. I also think he is very stiff on the court. And, yes, he is not a natural volleyer.

    The game has just advanced since he was on top. Federer wasnt really Federer yet, still crushed Roddick 2 of the 3 times they played and barely lost the other, despite Roddick barely ending the year as the "computer" #1; Nadal wasnt even around yet, neither was Djokovic, Hewitt was in a slump and did well vs Roddick in 2004-2005 once he came out of his slump, Nalbandian was only starting to emerge as a threat, Safin was out injured all year but came back as a threat for 2004-2005 anyway.

    Why even bother saying this stuff? You can apply this to any player or any team in just about any sport. Roddick is still very very good.
