Is it wise to wear ankle socks when playing tennis with proper shoes?
i don't see why not
So long as they're not made from sheer material ...
The basic function of a sock is to absorb perspiration and provide some level of shock absorption. I also been using only ankle socks for the past 10 years with no issues at all. Since it is hot and humid where I stay, it keeps the legs cool. Only problem is that my socks will get wetter faster as the perspiration gathers lower down the leg.
Thats what i was going to say. I wear them fine though on hot days.
